Responsibilities

As an Appliance Repair Technician, you will:

• Travel to customer homes to diagnose appliance issues using proper tools and techniques

• Service and repair a wide range of major household appliances, including refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washers, dryers, and more

• Replace defective components and verify appliance functionality through testing

• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining repair work and future maintenance recommendations

• Document service details accurately in our mobile system after each job

• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and represent the company positively on-site

• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures to ensure high-quality service

• Assist with new appliance installations as needed (based on customer demand)

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 6+ months of hands-on experience in appliance repair (residential preferred)

• A basic toolset required for diagnostics and repairs (sealed system or gas tools optional)

• Strong knowledge of major household appliances and how to troubleshoot common issues

• Experience working with a variety of appliance brands and models

• Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers

• Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and meet customer time windows

• A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely during installations or repairs

• Basic smartphone skills to navigate our mobile app (job updates, logs, photos)

• Optional: Trade certification, manufacturer training, or completion of an appliance repair course
